Using the game

These Terms of Use apply to Turf War website and the game accessed through its mobile apps. By registering or playing, you agree to these terms and the Official Rules. If you do not agree, do not register or play. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Turf War is a free, recreational territory game organized by Brian. Questions can be sent by text to (765) 203-1774.

Eligibility and player identity

Follow the entry requirements in the Official Rules, including a verifiable home address within the playable area. You must be at least 13 to participate. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review these terms and permit your participation.

Provide accurate information, use one player identity per person, and play only as yourself. Sign in using your registered email address. Keep sign-in emails, codes, and any password private. Do not share your account or make moves on another person’s behalf.

Play safely and lawfully

Never interact with the game while driving or when phone use is unsafe. Stop in a safe, legal place before checking your location or making a move. Do not trespass, enter restricted areas, ignore closures, or put yourself or others at risk to reach a territory.

A territory boundary or game objective does not grant permission to enter property. You are responsible for your travel decisions, expenses, and compliance with traffic rules and other applicable laws. Maps and location readings can be inaccurate; use your judgment and follow real-world signs and conditions.

Fair play

Do not spoof location, impersonate players, automate moves, tamper with the service, exploit bugs, or attempt unauthorized access to data or administrative tools. Do not harass, threaten, or publish another person’s private information. Report errors and suspected abuse to the organizer.

The organizer may investigate suspected violations, reverse invalid moves, correct errors, adjust cards or scores, or suspend or disqualify a player as described in the Official Rules.

Rules, results, and prizes

The Official Rules govern the season schedule, claims, cards, scoring, eligibility, prizes, ties, and rulings. They control if these terms conflict with a specific gameplay rule. Registration is free; no purchase is required.

Live standings may change after corrections and do not guarantee a prize. Final awards depend on verified results and eligibility under the Official Rules. Material changes to the rules during a season will be communicated to players.

Availability and responsibility

The game is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, accurate GPS or map data, or error-free scoring. Outages, connectivity problems, and device limitations can prevent play. Contact the organizer if a technical issue affects a move; corrections are handled under the Official Rules.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the organizer disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the game. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Game content and external services

You may use the website and game content for personal participation. Respect applicable copyright, trademark, and third-party license notices, including map attribution. Do not remove attribution or use the service to infringe another person’s rights.

Maps, external links, and other third-party services are subject to their own terms. The organizer does not control their availability or content.

Stopping play, changes, and contact

You can stop playing at any time. For requests concerning stored information, see the Privacy Policy. The organizer may restrict access for violations or suspend the service for maintenance or safety.

Revisions will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated to participants before they apply to continued play. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the game.
